My first experience of healing hands was the hands of my father. It was not reiki, he just has that natural gift , he can take pain away just by laying hands on a person. To my great disappointment this ability was not passed on to me.

Over the years of seeking answers, many people crossed my path. Most of these encounters ended up in disappointment. When I heard about reiki (many years ago at the end of the last century ) & did my research, the very idea of being able to learn the “skill” to help people, appeared to be very attractive. Unfortunately most authors came across as genuinely nice people but at the same time completely bonkers (somehow it did not feel right)…… A few years later I had one 40min reiki session by chance, a “tester” as they say. I did not think much of it initially, however, as the reiki continued working on me, I suddenly felt, there it is! The answer I was looking for! I just had to do it!!

it became clear – this student had finally found her teachers! Do you know what they say about buses? You wait for ages & then 2 come along at once!.
were absolutely wonderful & very patient, experienced teachers. They provided a great deal of support on this journey, to be honest, at the start they had one messed up student in ‘yours truly’. It was only when my mind was finally free of the negativity from the past, that the flow of energy throughout my body lifted my spirit - and then there was no way back.
. They provided me with an array of headaches, stomach aches, squeaky knees, bad shoulders, clicking ears & other excuses to be able to sit (or lay) down quietly and have a wonderful time for themselves, their bodies and ultimately their souls.

I just had to be part of it!! We always have so much fun!! Now when I see people’s faces lightening up as their pain subsides, their eyes full of wonder – What just happened? Where did the pain go?
