What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a non intrusive complementary health therapy based on the theory that certain points on the feet, hands, face, ears and lower leg correspond with different zones of the body. As a reflexologist I work holistically with my clients and aim to work alongside allopathic healthcare to promote better health for my clients.
What happens in a session?
You will lie barefoot on a comfortable couch and relax while I gently massage and work the reflexes on each foot and lower leg. The whole process is very soothing and restorative.
How long is a reflexology session?
A reflexology session usually lasts for 50 minutes to one hour depending on how you are when you arrive for your session.
How often do I need reflexology?
You will generally experience some immediate benefits from a one-off reflexology session. However, I really recommend a series of sessions to promote a fuller and continued recovery. Regular monthly sessions are excellent for maintaining your general wellbeing.
I have completed a Level 3 Reflexology Diploma with Jackie James of Calming Influences and have trained with Gunnel Berry who has developed ADRx.
